Welcome to Normal Heights

This eclectic enclave is far from normal

Just north of Balboa Park and sandwiched between Kensington to the east and University Heights to the west, you'll find a funky, diverse, eclectic little neighborhood rich in diversity with a unique identity amongst San Diego neighborhoods. Locals have lovingly given Normal Heights a nickname: Abnormal Heights. It embraces the feel of this neighborhood, with it’s collection of restaurants, bars, and shops, and families looking to settle in a safe, secure area with access to excellent schools. This neighborhood is also home to southern California's largest free music festival, The Adams Avenue Street Fair, which has been happening for 38 years.
