This hip, uptown neighborhood is just a few minutes from downtown and Balboa Park, with a great nightlife scene, locally-owned shops, vibrant restaurants, and pedestrian-friendly streets. Known for it’s tolerance and acceptance, Hillcrest is home to the city’s annual Pride Parade, which takes place in July.
