Welcome to Mission Hills

One of San Diego’s oldest and most desirable neighborhoods

Mission Hills is one of San Diego’s most desired residential neighborhoods. Perched in the Hillside above Interstate 5, this area boasts views of downtown and the San Diego Bay.  First developed in the early 1900s, Mission Hills is one of the oldest and most architecturally impressive neighborhoods in San Diego County. You’ll also find an abundance of Historically Designated properties here, which can save you up to 70% in your property taxes; one of the main draws to purchasing residential real estate in this area. Mission Hills is known for its quiet, yet lively vibe. Most local businesses run along West Washington Blvd, along Goldfinch St, and down to the neighboring LGBTQ community of Hillcrest.  Here you’ll find plenty of dog friendly restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, and salons. This neighborhood really hits a high watermark for walkability. The people are friendly, the vibe is lively, and the sunsets are breathtaking.
